We are currently recruiting for a Day Service role in Balbriggan supporting adults with intellectual disabilities to live active, independent, and meaningful lives in their community.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates seeking hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and a pathway into a Social Care Worker position following qualification and CORU registration eligibility.
About the Role
You will work as part of a person-centred Day Service team supporting individuals through:
- Community participation and social inclusion
- Independent living and personal development goals
- Meaningful day programmes and activities
- Positive relationships and advocacy
- A safe, respectful, and empowering environment
This role offers structured daytime hours within a supportive team setting.
Graduate Applicants Welcome
Final-year students and recent graduates in Social Care are encouraged to apply.
Candidates who are awaiting completion of studies and eligibility to apply for CORU registration may be considered for graduate/support worker opportunities pending qualification.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Social Care (completed or currently in final year)
- Genuine interest in supporting people with intellectual disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, flexible, and person-centred approach
- Full clean driving licence preferred
