Social Care Workers-Fulltime, Part-Time & Relief positions
St. Bernard’s is a well-established voluntary therapeutic children’s service which provides a unique and dedicated service to children in residential and foster care for 50 years.
We currently provide two therapeutic children’s residential centre for children under 12 years of age. Both centres are based in Fethard, Co. Tipperary.
We are looking for enthusiastic, competent, and energetic staff to join us in the task of providing therapeutic care to children. We are looking to recruit:
Social Care Workers-Fulltime, Part-Time & Relief positions
Essential Criteria
Minimum qualification at degree level 7 or Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care. Qualifications considered as a related and a relevant field: Degree in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work and Social Sciences.

What we offer:
- Excellent rate of pay applies (currently Oct’23 HSE rates, WRC pay increases due in 2025 & 2026) plus premium payments for unsocial hours. (Sunday & Bank Holidays; Sleep-over allowance; Saturday allowance and waking nights premium).
