EM3 Student Energy Engineer Job DescriptionEM3 is an energy management company that focuses on the energy performance of industrial manufacturing facilities. EM3 is part of the SHV Energy group which has 13,000 employees worldwide. In the past 2 years we have delivered energy management services on large industrial sites in 24 different countries. Our Team Our team includes a mix of engineers and scientists who are educated in the following sectors:Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering. We are currently recruiting students to get an introduction into working with our experienced staff in supporting our clients’ energy efficiency challenges. We work on the design and implementation of energy efficiency and utility projects in Industrial Manufacturing sites in the Food, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Bio-pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
Student PlacementEM3 Student Engineering placement encourages applicants from Energy, Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical & Processing disciplines to join an ever-growing team of talented individuals in delivering Climate Change & Energy solutions to large industry. As part of this placement you will develop specialist skills related to Industrial Energy Efficiency. Our students are an important part of the team and are provided with all the necessary supports to deliver real results and undertake valuable work for our clients. The role is varied and will change based on your background, interests and strengths and client needs in an ever-changing technical environment and we endeavour to ensure our students get to try to work on different parts of our business. Some of the initial tasks you may undertake during your placement include:
- Collection of energy data from client web-portals
- Compiling into database
- Preparing and interpreting reports
- Performance analysis of industrial energy and utility systems
- Assisting EM3 project engineers with the design and implementation of facilities &
- energy projects
