Supply Chain Specialist (Part Time)

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for management and supply
of all inventory/non-BOM parts while optimizing inventory levels and ensuring
availability of materials in line with planned requirements. 

General Responsibilities & Authorities:

  • Create production
    schedules applying business planning and forecasting tools.
  • Manage
    procurement activities including Kanban and Consignment programs with
    suppliers.
  • Manage
    shipping & logistics including co-ordination of courier and customs
    requirements.
  • Facilitate
    production meetings and participate on project teams.
  •  Manage
    inventory, purchasing and supplier service level management.
  • Lead
    supplier, process, and technology introduction to reduce non-value-added
    procurement activities.
  • Manage
    inventory accuracy and cycle count program accuracy.
  • Provide
    feedback to suppliers on a Quarterly basis or as needed.
  • Lead the
    implementation of the company’s ERP system to facilitate the continued growth
    of the business.
  •  Report at
    weekly/monthly meetings on KPI’s for the Supply Chain function.
  • Manage
    supplier agreements and terms and conditions.
  • Comply
    with GMP and ensure that quality standards are maintained.

Qualifications

·   
Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain
Management, Business Administration or a related field.

·   
Knowledge of ISO13485 standards
and supply chain management within the medical device industry.

·   
Proven experience in supplier
management and procurement.

·   
Strong organizational and
communication skills.


Skills

·   
Excellent problem-solving and
analytical skills.

·   
Strong attention to detail and
accuracy.

·   
Proficiency in supply chain
management software and tools (ERP) essential.

·   
Ability to interpret and apply
ISO13485 standards to supply chain operations.

·   
Strong negotiation and
relationship management skills.


Experience

·   
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
in supply chain management, preferably within the medical device industry.

·   
Experience with ISO13485
compliance and supplier audits.

·   
Proven track record of successful
supply chain management and optimization.
