We are currently seeking a Sustainability Officer to join our team at our Head Office in Finglas.
This is a Monday to Friday, hybrid role, and candidates must have full-time availability and the
right to work in Ireland.
The position focuses on embedding sustainability processes, goals, and targets into our daily
activities, working across key ESG pillars such as carbon footprint reduction, food waste
management, biodiversity, and diversity & inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the execution of KSG’s sustainability strategy.
• Measure and report on the company’s carbon footprint and Science-Based Targets.
• Support compliance with Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) legislation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to communicate sustainability initiatives internally
and externally.
• Work with clients to align sustainability efforts with their goals.
• Analyze food waste data and support chefs in reduction strategies.
• Lead the Sustainability Steering Committee and present updates to senior management.
• Assist in achieving external sustainability verification.
• Manage sustainability-related projects and partnerships (e.g., Origin Green, Business in
the Community, Positive Carbon).
• Develop and implement sustainability policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
• A relevant third-level qualification.
• Knowledge of sustainability in the catering industry.
• Experience with GHG emission data (Scope 1, 2, & 3) and Science-Based Targets.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
