Accounts Payable & Operational Finance
- Monitor and manage the
Accounts Payable system.
- Review supplier
invoices for accuracy, completeness and appropriate supporting
documentation.
- Liaise with budget
holders and internal stakeholders to ensure timely invoice approval and
processing.
- Assist in maintaining
supplier master data and resolving supplier queries.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Post payment invoices
and payment allocations within Inforsun.
- Prepare balance sheet
reconciliations and investigate outstanding reconciling items.
- Assist in the
preparation and posting of accounting journals.
- Support month-end and
year-end close processes across Group entities.
- Assist in preparing
management accounts and supporting schedules for review by senior
finance management.
- Support the
preparation of financial reports and analysis for management reporting
purposes.
- Assist in the
preparation of information required for regulatory, statutory and audit
reporting requirements.
Audit, Controls & Process Improvement
- Assist with both
internal and external audit requests.
- Prepare supporting
schedules and documentation for audit reviews.
- Ensure finance
procedures and controls are consistently followed.
- Identify opportunities
to improve finance processes, controls and efficiencies.
- Contribute to finance
transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
ACCA Professional Development
- Actively pursue the
ACCA professional qualification.
- Maintain examination
progression consistent with achieving ACCA membership within 3–4 years.
- Complete ACCA Practical
Experience Requirements (PER).
- Apply technical
accounting knowledge developed through ACCA studies to daily
responsibilities.
- Participate in both
internal and external training and development activities.
- Work closely with
qualified accountants and finance leaders to develop technical,
analytical and commercial finance skills.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide support to the
Group Financial Controller and CFO on ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
- Undertake additional
duties and responsibilities as required by management.
