Trainee HR Administrator Work Placement
Job SummaryAs a Trainee HR Administrator on placement, you will support the daily operations of the HR department. You will move beyond classroom theory to gain practical experience in HR, payroll, leadership and business knowledge. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a career as an HR.
Key Responsibilities• Assisting to collect and organise hours from all sites and sorting those to process payroll.• Acting as a point of contact and dealing with employee queries.• Assisting with job postings, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.• Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting training & inductions and preparing employment documentation.• Maintaining employee records, updating databases, and filing documentation.• Other ad-hoc duties as necessary.
Key Requirements• Currently studying for a degree in HR, or a related business discipline.• Basic knowledge of Human Resources and proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.• Strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.• Some payroll experience and IT skills would be beneficial. • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. • Strong ability to do multi task and ability to work in own initiative.• Good time management skills.
