Tutor
We are seeking motivated and knowledgeable tutors to support secondary school students across a range of subjects. This is a flexible, casual role ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching and want to work around their existing commitments. Tutors can choose the subjects they teach and the number of hours they take on.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality tutoring to secondary school students in your chosen subject(s)
- Support students with exam preparation, coursework, and subject comprehension
- Maintain a professional, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Hours & Flexibility
- Tutoring sessions take place primarily in the evenings and/or at weekends
- You have full flexibility to choose your availability and workload
- Opportunities to increase hours based on demand and your preference
Home Tuition Opportunities (Online)
Tutors who hold a valid Teaching Council registration number may also be eligible to deliver home tuition services as part of our extended tutoring programme.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in at least one secondary school subject
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles
- Reliable, organised, and professional approach
Desirable:
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience
- Teaching Council registration (for home tuition eligibility)
