Meet the speakers

Peter Traynor
Senior Manager - Education Delivery and Development, Irish Tax Institute 

Peter works closely with students, employers and education providers to support future Chartered Tax Advisers throughout their qualification journey. During this session, he will provide an overview of the CTA qualification, explain the different pathways into the profession, and discuss the career opportunities available across the tax landscape.

Charlotte Cumiskey
Director - Tax, BDO Ireland

Charlotte joined BDO's Tax department in 2014 and advises a broad range of real estate and construction clients, from international institutional investors to domestic property developers. A Chartered Tax Adviser and member of the Irish Tax Institute, Charlotte will share her career journey, discuss the breadth of work undertaken by tax professionals, and provide first-hand insights into building a career in Tax at BDO.
