Citi offers full-time, placement and internship opportunities across a number of its business areas, including Banking Capital Markets & Advisory (Investment Banking, Corporate Banking & Capital Markets), Consumer Banking, Markets and Securities Services, Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS), Private Bank, Operations and Technology. Citi also offers a week spring insight programme enabling first year undergraduates (or 2nd year of a four year course) the opportunity to experience first-hand the Citi culture and environment. University students interested in this industry with drive, commitment and a passion for learning are encouraged to apply. How can you join Citi?

After completing your online application, you will receive an email inviting you to complete a Plum assessment. Plum is an assessment tool that provides an objective ranking system of applications, while also providing you with feedback on your top talents. Your results in this assessment will not be used as screening criteria and not stop you from progressing in the process.

Your application will then be screened against our entry criteria for the programme. If you meet our criteria, you will reviewed by the recruitment team and scheduled for a virtual first round interview for most business areas. This will be a 1-2-1 interview with a member of the business team focusing on soft skills.

If you are successful and are applying for a role in technology, you will then progress to complete technical testing. The final stage of our process is an assessment centre which includes three interviews conducted over a three hour period with business representatives. All include competency based and case study interviews. Technology interviews also include a technical interview.

If you are successful, you will be offered a place on the programme subject to passing our legal and compliance checks.
