Postgraduate study

At Ulster University, we recognise that flexibility is important when considering Postgraduate study. We have four campuses across Northern Ireland and a delivery centre for selected business courses in Dublin including the popular MSc in Management and Corporate Governance, an award winning and unique all-island programme of study.

We offer a range of study modes including full and part-time, eLearning or blended study, and a variety of postgraduate opportunities – we’re currently running more than 250 courses across our all our key subject areas.

We also deliver a range of course types and awards including short courses, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma and Masters degrees, giving you greater flexibility and choice over your learning journey.

Ulster University is transforming the higher education landscape in Northern Ireland with the £264 million landmark development of the Belfast campus. Located in the heart of the vibrant Cathedral Quarter, the visionary new campus is one of the largest higher education capital builds in Europe. It will provide a progressive learning, teaching and research environment supported by the best innovative technology, allowing us to nurture talent and innovation.

Funding

Courses start from £5,900 for a standard Masters programme. If you are self-funding your Masters, the University offers a facility for flexible payments over a 10 month period or you can avail of a 5% discount if fees are paid up-front.

Research

Ulster University offers a range of research degree programmes, which may be undertaken on a full or part-time basis. Ulster is renowned and respected for its world leading research as demonstrated in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF). Each year, we spend over £46 million on research. We continue to develop and invest in our capabilities to ensure we stay at the forefront of innovation.
