This Masters programme is designed to equip students with a detailed knowledge of software engineering and its application in the field of communications systems. It provides a comprehensive grounding in targeted areas of ICT, and is particularly suitable to graduates with primary degrees in electronics or computing who wish to focus on careers in areas such as networking, telecommunications and computer systems.

*Master of Engineering Project 1, 2: Students will engage in project identification, planning, preparation, design, implementation and dissertation.
The principal entry requirement for either version of the programme is a 2.2 honours (Level 8 - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) (or better) undergraduate degree in a numerate and relevant discipline. An interview may be part of the admission process.
