This is a level 8, 2-year, part-time, fully online programme aimed at students who are looking to re-skill or up-skill in this exciting area. The aim of this programme is to equip students with the computing skills and the statistical skills needed to analyse data to gain maximum information from that data for the benefit of a business or organisation.

Entry requirements
Computing or mathematics graduates will be a Level 7 qualification plus one year’s post. Non-computing and non-mathematics graduates will be a Level 8 qualification. Some applicants who do not immediately meet these requirements may wish to consider using SETU’s Recognition of Prior Learning mechanism in order to make application that can be considered for entry to this course.

Opportunity
The primary aim of this programme is to produce highly skilled graduates with industry-ready skills in data analytics. The skills will be transferrable across a range of industries such as traditional manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, healthcare or financial services.
Should graduates wish to continue their education then they will be eligible for entry into MSc programmes in cognate disciplines.
