The programme has a focus on engagement in best practices in learning, teaching and assessment and application of theory through the professionalisation of all those who teach to help them realise their potential and to recognise and value teaching excellence and expertise.



It will equip participants with a range of skills, competencies, insights and capacities to bring the highest quality learning, teaching and assessment experiences to their students, while also managing and progressing their own scholarly careers.



It is designed to facilitate a transformation of the participants’ approaches to learning, teaching and assessment and to transformative leadership through engagement in deep reflection on practice focusing on emerging trends, challenges and key priorities in higher education in a community of scholars to encourage a lifelong commitment to continuing professional development.

Autumn Modules

• TL6003 Transforming Learning, Teaching and Assessment (15 ECTS) aims to empower participants to engage in, and critically reflect on, activities that transform their practice through transforming learning and transformative pedagogies, thereby providing a lens through which teaching enhancement, the development of expertise and teaching excellence can be viewed. Spring Modules



• TL6004 Leadership in Learning, Teaching and Assessment (15 ECTS) aims to enable participants to lead change in learning, teaching and assessment and explores emerging trends and current key priorities in higher education through the lens of transformative leadership using a research informed approach to their disciplinary practice and the wider institutional, national and/or international context.
