Role Description
We are looking for a Graduate Assistant Project Manager to join GagaMuller's Graduate Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin their career in Project Management within the construction industry.
Working alongside experienced Project Managers, Design Managers, Commercial Teams, BIM specialists, Schedulers, Engineers, and Client stakeholders, you will gain practical experience supporting the successful delivery of complex construction projects from concept design through to commissioning and handover.
Our Graduate Programme has been designed to provide structured training, mentoring, and real project experience from day one. You will develop technical, commercial, leadership, and stakeholder management skills while contributing to major commercial, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, industrial, and hyperscale data centre developments across Ireland and Europe.
The Opportunity
As a Graduate Assistant Project Manager, you will support Project Managers in coordinating the successful delivery of construction projects throughout every stage of the project lifecycle.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams including Design, Commercial, BIM, Planning, Engineering, Construction, and Client representatives, you will assist with project coordination, programme monitoring, stakeholder communication, reporting, and project administration.
This role provides an excellent foundation for graduates looking to build a long-term career in Project Management while receiving structured mentoring and exposure to some of Europe's most exciting construction and digital infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
1. Scope & Delivery Management
- Support
Project Managers in coordinating project activities across planning,
design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. - Assist
with monitoring project programmes, key milestones, and deliverables. - Help
track project actions and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. - Support
project planning, resource coordination, and project administration
activities. - Assist
with coordinating project documentation, technical submissions, and
project deliverables.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work
closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Contractors, Consultants,
Engineers, Commercial Teams, and Client stakeholders. - Attend
project meetings, workshops, and multidisciplinary coordination sessions. - Assist
with preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and action trackers. - Support
communication between project teams to ensure effective collaboration. - Build
strong working relationships across multidisciplinary project teams.
3. Risk & Compliance Management
- Assist
in identifying project risks, issues, and coordination challenges. - Support
monitoring project progress against programme milestones. - Assist
with project governance processes, reporting standards, and document
control procedures. - Help
coordinate project changes and maintain accurate project records. - Support
compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and project
standards.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare
project reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, and presentations. - Maintain
project documentation, trackers, action logs, and reporting records. - Assist
with project reporting for internal teams and client stakeholders. - Support
document management throughout the project lifecycle. - Maintain
accurate project records and reporting documentation.
5. Collaboration & Integration
- Work
collaboratively with Project Management, Design, Commercial, BIM,
Scheduling, Engineering, Construction, and Quality teams. - Support
integration between project planning, design coordination, commercial
management, and construction activities. - Contribute
to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery. - Promote
collaboration, innovation, and best practice across project teams. - Develop
your technical and professional skills through mentoring and practical
project experience.
Qualifications
- Recently
completed or currently completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (NFQ
Level 8 or above) in one of the following disciplines: -
