Job Description
The intern will actively participate in new business acquisitions, including the setup procedures and brand and range management, contributing to their go-live status. This role offers a comprehensive introduction to luxury brand management and supplier relations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Local Buying Team with the implementation of the T1 store refurbishment.
- Collaborate with the Global Category team to execute CVP initiatives.
- Work with the Global Buying team to develop a sustainability plan for the category.
- Help create a launch presentation for new products scheduled for 2025.
- Support the category in the setup and maintenance of items.
- Ensure products are correctly set up in the system to guarantee accurate reporting.
- Assist in the setup of promotions and manage the marketing plan within budget constraints.
- Facilitate effective communication between the Buying team and internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely implementation of new supplier builds.
- Contribute to the implementation of new gifting concepts in-store.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Interest in the luxury retail sector and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
- Basic understanding of retail and buying processes.
- Analytical skills for accurate reporting and data management.
- Creative thinking for contributing to presentations and new concepts.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges.
