Weekly Pay Rate: €26.31
per hour (including shift rate) – Per Annum. Pay rise of 4% from 01/01/2027.
Starting weekly gross €868.23, €902.96 from 1st of Jan.
Working Hours: 33
hours per week. Starting 23:45 to 08:00 – 4 nights starting 23:45 Monday

Job
Summary
We are seeking a reliable,
detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our busy manufacturing team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and
monitoring CNC machines, including CNC machining & CNC grinding equipment.
This role requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity in
a fast-paced production environment.
Key
Responsibilities
·
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining and
CNC grinding machines to produce components to engineering drawings and
specifications, and report dimensional measurements.
·
Perform machine start-up, tool changes,
offsets, and other machine adjustments.
·
Inspect finished components using measuring
equipment such as micrometres, verniers, height/depth gauges, and other
precision instruments.
·
Ensure products meet quality standards and
customer specifications.
·
Read and interpret engineering drawings, job
cards, and work instructions.
·
Monitor machine performance and report any
faults, breakdowns, or quality concerns promptly.
·
Maintain accurate production and quality
records.
·
Follow all health and safety procedures,
company policies, and quality management systems.
·
Work closely with supervisors, quality
personnel, and colleagues to meet production targets.
·
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
·
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working
environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential
·
Previous experience operating CNC machinery in
a manufacturing environment.
·
Ability to read and interpret engineering
drawings and technical specifications.
·
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
·
Strong attention to detail and commitment to
producing high-quality work.
·
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving
skills.
·
Ability to work independently and as part of a
team.
·
Good communication skills.
·
Flexible approach to work and willingness to
work shifts or overtime when required.
Desirable
·
Previous experience operating CNC machinery in
a manufacturing environment VERY desirable
·
Experience with lean manufacturing or
continuous improvement practices.
·
Forklift driving experience.
Qualifications
·
Technical qualification in Engineering,
Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable.
·
Relevant CNC machining or grinding qualifications
are beneficial.
