Our consulting graduate programme is unique in Ireland, offering associates the opportunity to experience all aspects of management consulting across the three years of our programme.

The Position

As a consulting associate, you will work with a range of interesting clients in the public and financial services sectors, whilst undergoing professional training and rotating across a series of consulting service areas such as strategy, organisation development, change and transformation, culture, people consulting, finance decision support, financial services regulatory consulting, privacy and ESG.

Every day is different for a consultant. You will be assisting different clients with their business’s challenges and developing tailored pragmatic solutions. Service rotations will help you to identify areas most suited to your abilities and we will support you with dedicated mentoring, coaching, technical upskilling and professional development so that you are set up for success.

Successful applicants will be employed under a three-year training and development programme to start in October 2025. During this period, you will be trained to operate to the highest professional standards across a variety of consulting disciplines. We will provide you with support in sitting a range of professional examinations, depending on your area of interest.

Your responsibilities will grow with each year of the contract completed, and any examinations passed. By the end of your training, you will take full responsibility for day to day delivery of client consulting assignments.

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal and client interaction skills and be capable of applying a rigorous and enthusiastic approach to your work. Principal requirements

  • Honours Degree and/or Masters in any discipline
  • Wide range of interests across many disciplines

Training Programme Outline

The Forvis Mazars Consulting Training Programme is based upon the fact that competence and professional expertise is derived from a combination of real-life experience, structured training, personal motivation and learning.

As a Consulting Associate, you will spend time working across each of our service areas:

  • Change management & transformation

  • Financial services regulatory consulting

Forvis Mazars is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and all staff will pursue both Certified Management Consultant status and Prince 2 Project Management qualifications as part of their training programme.

Our training programme aims to structure the learning process through identification of the core skills required across all areas of consulting, knowledge transfer on projects and the identification of key training needs at each level.

Associates are provided with support throughout the training programme

  • All associates will be assigned a Mentor
  • Formal quarterly reviews will be held with the Mentor
  • All Associates will be assigned a buddy
  • Continuous feedback from both the Mentor and trainee throughout the year
  • Training requirements can be identified with the assistance of the Mentor or relevant Manager
  • Twice yearly review with Consulting Partner and Manager
  • Feedback on consulting strategy plans
