Role Summary
LightSign Ltd. and SignLED.eu are leading providers of LED lighting solutions, signage materials, and technical illuminated displays. We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Marketing & E-Commerce Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will bridge technical product management, creative content creation, and digital marketing. You will be responsible for translating complex product details into clear technical spec sheets, capturing high quality product photography, managing e-commerce product listings, ensuring compliance on regulatory databases (such as EPREL), and driving our digital marketing campaigns across social, email, and SEO channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Design & Spec Sheet Production

Design, format, and maintain technical specification sheets, user guides, and product datasheets using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop).

Translate technical LED and signage specifications (lumens, wattage, IP ratings, color temperature, dimensions) into clear, visually appealing PDFs for trade customers and web downloads.

Ensure consistent brand guidelines across all product collateral and downloadable documentation.
2. Product Photography & Content Creation

Photograph raw products, LED components, signage hardware, and completed customer applications on-site or in studio setups.

Edit, retouch, and optimize images for print, e-commerce, and digital platforms.

Capture short form video clips of product applications, installations, and showcases for social media and web use.
3. E-Commerce Operations & Regulatory Compliance

Prepare, format, and upload new product listings to company e-commerce websites (including copy, specifications, high-res images, and meta tags).

Register and manage lighting product compliance data on official European regulatory databases, specifically EPREL (European Product Registry for Energy Labelling), ensuring energy labels and datasheets meet EU/UK standards.

Maintain data accuracy, stock descriptions, and categorisation across the website.
4. Digital Marketing, SEO & Social Media

Collaborate on digital marketing strategy to increase brand visibility, website traffic, and trade leads across Ireland and Europe.

Assist in On-Page SEO optimization: writing product descriptions, page titles, meta descriptions, image ALT tags, and structured content.

Plan, schedule, and design weekly social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) showcasing project showcases, product launches, and industry insights.

Design and execute email marketing campaigns (e.g., via Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar) to B2B clients, trade accounts, and subscribers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical & Software Skills

Graphics & Layout: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent graphic design tools.

Photography: Practical experience camera operation, product lighting, and post-production photo editing.

Digital Marketing: Experience with email marketing tools, social media scheduling platforms, and basic SEO concepts (keyword optimization, metadata).
Experience & Competencies

Education / Experience: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or equivalent practical industry experience (1–3 years preferred).

Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to technical accuracy (critical for energy labelling, spec sheets, and regulatory listings).

Self-Starter: Ability to manage multiple content streams from photography shoots to website uploads efficiently.

Communication: Strong written English for copyediting, product descriptions, and client emails.
Preferred / Advantageous Experience

Prior experience or background in B2B marketing, electrical/lighting products, sign manufacturing, or construction/architectural supplies.

Familiarity with EU lighting regulations (EPREL compliance, CE/UKCA marking requirements).

Basic understanding of video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Canva).
