Duty Manager
We are seeking a capable and proactive Duty Manager to support the daily operations of a busy IPAS Centre. This is a hands-on role working closely with residents, staff, and management to ensure protocols are followed and issues are resolved professionally.
Hours:

15–30 hours per week

8-hour shifts
-
Shifts scheduled across weekdays and weekends
-
Flexible days
Key Responsibilities:
-
Overseeing day-to-day centre operations during assigned shifts
-
Supervising reception and resident-facing areas
-
Handling incidents, complaints, and resident queries calmly and effectively
-
Applying de-escalation techniques and maintaining a safe environment
-
Enforcing centre policies and operational protocols
-
Completing all administrative duties, including reports and logs
-
Confident use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic Google Drive tools
-
Conducting regular checks around the property
-
Maintaining professional presentation in line with dress and grooming policy
-
Supporting and escalating issues to management where required
Requirements:

Strong administrative and organisational skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
-
Experience working in a busy, resident-facing environment
-
Ability to work confidently with a vulnerable population
-
Proven de-escalation skills and sound judgement
-
Professional appearance and conduct at all times
-
Flexible availability, including weekends
