Electrical Engineering Intern / Graduate

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design and development of electrical systems and installations.
  • Prepare and update electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Support engineering teams with project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Participate in electrical testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Assist in the specification and selection of electrical components and equipment.
  • Carry out technical calculations and engineering analysis under supervision.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, regulations, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, and project departments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation projects.
  • Maintain accurate engineering records and project documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in electrical engineering, power systems, or industrial applications.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Desirable

  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, ETAP, Revit MEP, or similar software.
  • Previous internship, placement, project work, or practical engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of power distribution, control systems, or electrical installations.
  • Understanding of relevant electrical standards and regulations.
