Role Summary

The successful applicant will be employed in one of our production facilities, operating as an Environmental Graduate. This will involve the day to day management of all environmental related activities along with a series of environmental and sustainability based projects.

The successful candidate will be based in one of our primary production plants and will be responsible for:

  • Capturing all relevant data relating to effluent, energy, water, waste and sustainability measure;
  • Formatting and analysing all the relevant data and developing KPI's for internal and external reporting;
  • Understanding/operating and advising on effluent treatment processes;
  • Performing laboratory analysis of effluent to demonstrate healthy performance across all areas of treatment;
  • Liaise with external bodies on regulatory matters i.e. EPA/Co. Co. etc.;
  • Maintain and improve ISO50001 Energy management system on site;
  • Maintain and improve ISO140001 Environmental management system on site.

Your role will see you tackle a wide range of business challenges in a busy environment.

The ideal Candidate will have or demonstrate:

  • A relevant 3rd level Environmental qualification (preferably B.Sc.\B.E. degree in engineering) or similar;
  • A good knowledge of environmental scientific techniques, managing large amounts of data, report writing;
  • Excellent communication skills with fluent English;
  • The ability to work as both part of a team and independently is essential.
