SimoTech have an opportunity for a Graduate Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting one of our leading pharmaceutical clients based in Cork. The role involves the design, development and testing of DeltaV code, as well as working with engineers from other disciplines to support projects. The successful candidate will work within a project team of Automation Engineers, on site, providing the opportunity to learn and develop whilst contributing to a key project for our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Create automation Functional and Detailed Design documents.
- Code and test DeltaV Modules, Graphics, Interlocks and Alarms.
- Review Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs) against I/O lists.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions that meet business needs
- Support commissioning and qualification activities.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of S-88 Batch Standard.
- Good understanding of GAMP and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interact and communicate with other engineering and business disciplines.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
