Rockwell are currently recruiting a Graduate BIM Engineer to join our team on a permanent & full-time basis. The initial location for this position will be on one of Rockwell's projects based in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the system and design development, coordination of building services layouts, management of drawing registers and standards.
- Modelling of Rockwell services, including specialised HVAC materials in line with client schematics and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with other contractors and stakeholders to develop the routing of services in line with space management requirements, and project specifications. Coordination is directly into the Federated Models.
- Collaborate closely with client representatives, project managers, site supervisors, and our internal design team. Additionally, you'll report directly to the Engineering Design Manager.
- Deliver BIM support for high-tech manufacturing campuses, including mission-critical utilities, precision-engineered facilities, and advanced production operations.
- Development of Fabrication Packs, including Isometric and Orthographic construction drawings, bills of materials, and redlining LSPs and PIPs.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:
- Bachelor or Honours Degree (Level 7/8) in Engineering or BIM.
- Proficient in the use of engineering software (Plant3D or AutoCAD ideally. Revit, Solidworks, or CADworx also acceptable).
- Relevant experience (e.g., summer work etc.) in related industry.
- Ability to work in a vibrant multi-discipline collaborative design environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter.
