Graduate Field Service & Installation Engineer
Are you an engineering graduate looking to step into a high-growth, hands-on industry?
Modern industrial door automation sits at the exact intersection of mechanical assembly and electrical control systems. Working alongside a Senior Technician, you will travel daily from our Dublin 11 hub to facilities and active construction sites across Leinster.
This role is designed to build your practical hybrid engineering skillset—taking what you learned in college and applying it directly to market-leading machinery in the field.
What You Will Do
• Hands-on Assembly: Assist with mechanical fitting, heavy-duty structural frames, drive shafts, and high-speed roller mechanisms.
• Electrical Integration: Perform wiring, terminating, programming, and troubleshooting of specialised controllers, safety sensors, radar detectors, and interlock systems.
• Site Operations: Work across high-spec commercial sites, active construction zones, and operational industrial facilities.
• Service & Repair: Support routine preventative maintenance, emergency diagnostics, and system testing.
What We Are Looking For
• Qualification: Qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
• Tool Proficiency: Practical experience using basic hand tools and battery-powered tools (drills, grinders, etc.).
• Location & Mobility: Must live within an easy commute of Dublin 11 to join the service team daily.
• Certifications & Compliance:
o Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates required.
o Must be over 18 (required for access to restricted high-security and industrial facilities).
• Mindset: Strong work ethic, eager to learn both mechanical and electrical disciplines, and comfortable working on active construction sites.
