The Job

We’re building a dynamic in-house creative team, and we’re looking for a Junior Designer with passion, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn. This role is all about hands-on experience—working with our Senior Designer and Creative Lead to bring campaigns to life across digital, social, print, and internal communications.

You’ll gain practical exposure to brand building, motion graphics, illustration, and multi-channel content creation. With structured learning, ongoing mentoring, and the chance to contribute to meaningful creative work, this is the perfect role for someone early in their design career who wants to grow quickly in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development

  • Produce visual assets for digital, social, print, and internal comms in line with brand guidelines.
  • Support campaign development with design iterations, concepts, and creative variations.
  • Assist with illustrations, infographics, icons, and branded templates.

Motion & Video

  • Contribute to short-form animated and motion-graphic content for social and digital channels.
  • Support storyboarding and help with basic video editing using tools like After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with the Creative Lead, Senior Designer, and Marketing team to interpret briefs and deliver high-quality creative output.
  • Maintain organised workflows, file structures, and version control.
  • Support delivery across integrated marketing campaigns.

Brand & Creative Innovation

  • Uphold brand standards across all design work.
  • Contribute ideas to evolving our creative identity.
  • Stay curious—explore new design tools, trends, and emerging tech (including 3D or AI-assisted design).

The Person

You’re enthusiastic, eager to learn, and excited to build your creative career. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, open to feedback, and motivated by seeing your work come to life across real campaigns.

You bring a strong eye for detail, a passion for creativity and a portfolio that shows potential—even if it’s from university or personal projects.

Experience, Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD is a bonus.
  • Ability to produce simple animation and video edits with support.
  • Illustration capability is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn new tools (3D, generative design, etc.).

Core Competencies

  • Creative thinking and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a busy in-house environment with structured guidance.
  • Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
  • Portfolio demonstrating foundational design skills and creative promise.

Qualifications

  • A portfolio showcasing your foundational design skills—this matters more than grades.

Additional Information

This is a 2-year fixed-term role created to help develop new creative talent. You’ll gain hands-on experience across brand, design, motion, and marketing—supported every step of the way by experienced designers who’ll help you build confidence and capability.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, growing creative team and make a meaningful impact early in your career.

Why should you apply?

We’re not a perfect place – but we’re a people place. Our priority is supporting all of the different realities our people face. Life is about so much more than work. We get it. That’s why we’ve designed our total rewards to give you the flexibility to choose what you need, when you need it, making sure that you and your family are supported not only financially, but physically and emotionally too.

If you're full of energy, fired up about sustainability, and ready to craft not only a better tomorrow, but a better you, then come and find your purpose in a team where your voice matters, your growth is non-negotiable, and your ambitions are our priority.
