Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.

The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

DePuy Synthes Cork employs over 1000 people in Cork established its manufacturing facility in 1997 where it manufactures orthopaedic knees and hips. In 2014, Johnson & Johnson MedTech Cork won the Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence.

Job Purpose:

The mission of the Graduate Operations Team Lead is to support the Operations team in the manufacturing of products to enhance the Safety, quality, service, growth and value for local & Global Orthopedics supply.

The main responsibility will be to work as part of the Operations Team under the guidance of a Team Lead/Value Stream Manager while participating in the Ireland Graduate program.

The role will support the Knees, Hips and Shoulder markets as well as supporting business growth, quality and projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or similar operations, engineering or technology degree.

This role is open to early-career talent, specifically candidates who will graduate in 2026 or who have recently graduated in 2025.
