Aon Graduate Programme 2026 – Human Capital – Financial Planning Graduate
Have you completed your third level degree in Business or are you on track to achieve it? Are you interested in playing a critical role in the growth of the cross functional operational team? Are you looking for a varied role where you can improve your client facing abilities in a great team of financial planners? If so, this might be the role for you!
This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Dublin office.
Although our working arrangement is hybrid, this role is based in Dublin, Ireland. We expect team members to be present in the office 3–4 days per week, particularly during the initial months of employment to support onboarding and training. If you are currently based outside of County Dublin, we encourage you to consider the potential need for relocation or a manageable commute to ensure regular office attendance.

Our selection process is designed to be fair, transparent, and engaging. It typically includes the following steps:
- Online Assessment – Candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment during the first week of November 2025.
- In-Person Assessment Centre – Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an in-person assessment day at our Dublin office, expected to take place towards the end of November or in the first half of December.

About Human Capital and Financial Planning
In our Human Capital business in Ireland, we provide clients with distinctive value through an industry-leading portfolio of products and services in actuarial, investment, general consulting, and pension administration. We align to a Global structure and work to deliver services that exceed our clients' expectations.
Part of Aon’s Human Capital Division, the Financial Planning Team through our expertise and cash flow modelling software, help our clients to make better financial decisions in both the pre & post-retirement phase, covering all areas including pension, investment & protection.
What the Human Capital Graduate Programme will look like
The Human Capital Graduate Programme will commence in Summer 2026 (typically August) and has been designed to identify and support the development of key future talent. As such, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate a genuine interest, drive and potential to build a lasting career at Aon.
As a member of Aon’s Graduate ‘Launch’ programme, you will have the opportunity to participate in business sponsored projects and network with a large cohort of Graduates across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. This will include programme kickoff in either our London office or another office in the EMEA region.
You will gain exposure to all aspects of our business through in-role learning opportunities, participation in specific projects and the opportunity to work with key partners across the Aon business, gaining knowledge and insight into our world of Human Capital.
What the day will look like
As a Financial Planning Graduate, you will be working as part of the wider Human Capital team to contribute to delivering high quality client services.
The role will include providing a professional support service to a portfolio of Financial Planning clients. Tasks and responsibilities will include:
- How we deliver better outcomes for financial planning clients through the prism of cashflow planning
- How personal financial plans are constructed
- How we onboard our clients
- How we continue to service our clients
- The rules/codes of the regulator and how we comply with same.
In addition to that, day to day activities include:
- Assisting the financial planner in the formulation and documentation of financial plans for the client from information and instructions provided
- Attend client meetings with the financial planner on and off site across Ireland
- Critically analyse information received from planners and clients alike
- Assist in projects and operational duties aligned with the Financial Planning team
- Individual New Business processing and Pipeline Management
- Provide a professional service to a portfolio of external & internal clients
- Work to meet tight deadlines.

- Third level degree or equivalent in Business, Finance and Management and/or interest in advancing career in any related field
- Ability to operate under pressure and handle deadlines
- Numeracy and analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Highly efficient and self-reliant
- Multi-tasking abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating with colleagues and stakeholders of all levels within an organization
