This job description outlines the core responsibilities of the Graduate Site Manager role and may be subject to change depending on the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities may vary or change in response to project or organisational requirements at MYCO.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 EMS

Logistical management and upkeep of/maintenance of MYCO Team Offices, welfare facilities, subcontractors, loading areas and site roadway/logistics.

Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety plan (including Inductions, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, etc.)

The management of the workforce on Site, to ensure that safe methods of working are used and the effect on the environment is minimized, this is to include the issuing of clear up notices.

Ensure that all work in progress is supervised and that HSE regulations are adhered to at all times.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining safe systems of work in accordance with Site Health and Safety Management procedures. This includes a regular assessment of new risks and hazards that may not be specifically covered by safety system documentation already in place.

Manage the day-to-day operations and ensure H&S is to the highest standards.

Ensure other H&S statutory requirements are in place, recorded and readily available upon request.

Deal on the spot with H&S issues that arise.

Ensure all accidents, incidents and near miss incidents are reported in a timely manner.

Rectify and report H&S issues.

Complete bi-weekly inspections on safety performance.

Work with the Site Foreman, Project Manager and EHS Team to ensure MYCO Team offices, welfare facilities, subcontractor areas, loading areas and site roadways/logistics are kept satisfactory and compliant.

 

Quality

Ensure accurate records are kept.

Ensure that Inspection and Test Plans are prepared, implemented and updated using BIM.

Ensure compliance with the Environmental Management Plan.

Implement and monitor the QA/QC to standard plans and procedures.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Project Management Plan (PMP) for your section of the works. This shall include the generation of System Records that show compliance with the PMP and may include auditing and surveillance.

Responsible for implementing all Quality assurance associated with your elements of the build and that of using the BIM system to electronically monitor and approve specific parts of the build and detailed in the ITP.

Responsible for the generation of daily diaries. (Recording accurate site labour hours and activities).

Generate non-conforming issues (NCR’s) assigned to the responsible company.

Develop/Manage and close site-specific QA sheets.

Ensure all site-based activities are linked to the space management QR codes.

Monitor workmanship on site to ensure the works are completed to the highest quality

 

Programme

Responsible for programming (Sub-Contractors) short term programmes.

Provide input into the weekly report on progress and programme.

Complete daily site duties accurately, highlighting any delays against the programme and why.

Welfare, security and public/adjoining owner liaison.

Review, comment and approve the risk assessment and method statements on site – either directly or from sub-con tractors and that of obtaining a secondary signature from the Project Manager.

Ensure everyone entering site are inducted and briefed on relevant RAMS, CSCS cards and certificates are checked, and a good level of English is identified.

Complete Visitors Inductions where applicable.

Close on BIM.

Commercial

Be conversant with all drawings, specifications, sub-contractors, related information for these works and scope of works.

Provide site records and other required information for commercial/cost control.

Have an understanding of what is in the Sub-Contractors scopes.

Have calling of materials and record goods received note.

Do not sign any daywork sheets without approval to do so.

Any instruction to Sub-Contractors to be approved by Project Manager & Quantity Surveyor.

 

Relationships

Maintain a good working relationship with Clients, Sub-Contractors, Consultants, Associated Personnel and all stakeholders.

Liaise with "Building Control” and all other Statutory bodies and Authorities.

Interface with designers, project teams and any other visitor to site.

 

Ancillary Duties

Support your manager and the staff under your control.

Continue to develop the quality of the MYCO Brand.

Ensure to have a professional approach at all times.

Assist in reporting as requested.
