Intern Quality Engineer
Timoney is seeking an Intern Quality
Engineer to work as part of our quality.
The successful candidate will be
expected to assist the quality team to:

Maintain, improve
and support the quality management system.
·
Establish and
maintain quality control processes and standards to ensure products meet
customer expectations as well as regulatory and internal requirements.
·
Perform audits
and inspections of products and processes to identify defects and areas for
improvement.
·
Inspection of
incoming and outgoing product to insure conformance to specifications.
·
Maintain detailed
records of quality issues, inspections, and testing results, and communicate
findings to relevant stakeholders.
·
Maintain detailed
records of customer complaints, leading the investigation and close out of
issues and implementation of corrective actions.
·
Be instrumental
in ensuring workplace safety, compliance with regulations, and promoting a
culture of health and safety within the organisation.
·
Work closely with
engineering, production, and other departments to resolve quality issues and
implement corrective actions.
The
Person
·
Currently
studying a relevant degree course.
·
Self-starter who
will also be able to operate in a team environment.
·
Understanding of
quality management systems (QMS) and ISO9001
·
Experience with
ERP/MES systems and quality management software.
·
Strong
communicator with the ability to work closely with colleagues across the
Engineer, Manufacturing and Quality teams
