Job Description:
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on graduate engineer to join our Engineering
team on site, supporting and improving our manufacturing processes, with a
focus on insulated panel production and rollforming lines.
This is a practical, shop-floor-based role where you will be an active
contributor to daily operations, while also supporting the planning and
coordination of maintenance activities.
The role suits someone who is a self-starter and has a very strong desire
to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working as part of the Engineering team,
supporting day-to-day production - Developing and learning how to keep
production lines running efficiently and safely on rollforming and the
latest high technology insulated panel lines - Learning about the new equipment and
becoming an ‘owner’ of one of the toolsets - On the selected toolset, learn troubleshooting,
root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions for issues - Contributing to the planning and
scheduling of maintenance activities for this toolset - Making practical improvements to
processes and workflows
What We’re Looking For
Must Have
- Strong desire for hands-on and learning
- A recognised technical qualification
- Proven knowledge of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic
and control systems - Comfortable working on the shop floor in
a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in rollforming, steel, or
panel manufacturing - Exposure to maintenance planning or
scheduling - Familiarity with production systems / ERP
- A strong understanding of physics and
chemistry
