Junior Software Developer

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our development team working on the Pemac CMMS platform from Eleco.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer to gain hands-on experience building enterprise software used by organisations in regulated and asset-intensive industries.

You will work with experienced engineers and product teams to design, build and improve software that supports maintenance operations, asset management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of platform features
• Write clean, maintainable code across front-end and back-end components
• Support testing, debugging and software improvements
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and stand-ups
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and product teams
• Assist in investigating and resolving technical issues

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in software development and problem solving
• Ability to work collaboratively in a development team
• Good communication skills

Desirable

• Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, SQL or similar languages
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, APIs, JSON, CSS)
• Experience using Git or version control systems

Location & Travel

Hybrid role based in Cork office, with occasional travel to other company or client locations.
