Job Title: Legal Executive (leading to a Training Contract for
suitable candidates)
Location: Dublin 7
Salary: €30,000.00 - €35,000.00
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months) with the view to
extension
Hours: 30-40 hours a week
The Role
The Legal Executive will
provide dedicated legal and administrative support to our Solicitors across all
practice areas, with a focus on supporting our Healthcare and Mental Health and
Capacity team in bringing urgent High Court applications to vindicate the
constitutional rights of vulnerable persons.
The Legal Executive will be
expected to work collaboratively with our team and third parties to ensure
pleadings are issued, deadlines are met and clients are informed in plain
English of the legal process and outcomes.
The suitable postholder may
be considered for a training contract in due course.

Key Responsibilities
and Duties
Draft and format the
pleadings and prepare same for filing in the relevant Court Office
Liaise with external
Solicitors and Commissioners for Oaths to arrange appointments for clients to
swear Affidavits
Draft correspondence to
clients, Counsel, Court Offices, experts and third parties
Prepare booklets of documents
for upcoming Court hearings and to brief Counsel
Conduct legal research as
directed by Solicitors and Partners
Attend consultations and
Court hearings where appropriate and take an accurate note
Miscellaneous administrative
duties as required, such as printing, scanning, receiving telephone calls,
transcription and filing documents on physical files.

Bachelor's Degree (Level 8
NFQ) in Law
Understanding of
Healthcare/Mental Health/Capacity Law
Prior experience working as a
Legal Executive/Legal Intern in a Solicitor’s firm
