We have a vacancy for a Medical Scientist to join our friendly, supportive laboratory team and contribute to the development and expansion of our service and hospital for circa one year. Our medium-sized multidisciplinary laboratory provides the opportunity for our Medical Scientists to develop their skills and knowledge across disciplines and thereby facilitates development and career progression.

Candidate requirements

• CORU-registered Medical Scientist
• Eligible for membership of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine
• Experience of ISO15189 (essential) and JCI hospital accreditation (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-centered and can-do approach
• Enthusiastic, flexible and collaborative
• Team player who is also able to work on their own initiative
