Sysco Ireland is the largest food business on the island of Ireland with a team of over 1,300 colleagues delivering food solutions to thousands of customers every night. Our customers rely on us to help them grow their businesses with a range of over 10,000 fresh, frozen, and ambient food products, and non-food products.

Sysco is the global leader in selling, marketing, and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities and other customers who prepare meals away from home. Its family of products also includes equipment and supplies for the foodservice and hospitality industries. With more than 57,000 associates globally, the company operates more than 326 distribution facilities worldwide and serves more than 625,000 customer locations.

Our Operations function operates 9 sites across the island of Ireland. The department consistent of teams across Warehousing, Distribution, Inventory, Operations Planning, Quality, Health and Safety, Project, and Facilities. Dublin being our main distribution centre at 330K. Sq. Ft Multi-Temperature facility. This facility provides the picking of products for all our other sites with stock holding also at our Lisburn and Cork facilities.

We manage these operations through a National Operations structure where we utilise a full support structure and avail of the cutting-edge systems that have been developed by Sysco worldwide. We manage all of this with over 800 colleagues across the country across all the Operations Functions.

The Supply Chain & Operations Graduate Programme

We are proud to launch our 2025 Supply Chain and Operations Graduate Programme. This programme is designed to develop our future leaders by providing them with a unique environment where they will be challenged daily to prepare them for future business leadership roles. Do you think you have what it takes?

By joining us you will enter a Supply Chain and Operations Graduate Programme which promises to give you a wide breadth of experience as we look to develop the future leaders within the food industry globally. It’s a fast-paced, exciting team that lives in real-time, where you’ll need to be ready to respond quickly to anything that might challenge our ability to deliver to customers.

Our Supply Chain and Operations Graduate Programme runs over two years where you'll spend time across the breath of the Operations function, partnering with other areas of the business including Supply Chain, Sales and Merchandising. From day one, you'll begin to gain hands-on experience, whilst also broadening your technical know-how.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 2:1 or above (realised or predicted) in a relevant Supply Chain or Business degree
  • A solid understanding and demonstrated interest in Supply Chain and Operations
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and career motivation.
  • Available to start September 2025
