About This Position

Embark on a thrilling journey with our 18-month CHAiNGERS Operations & Supply Chain Trainee Program, that prepares you for a fast-track development in the Operations & Supply Chain organization at Henkel Adhesives. Through this program, you will gain comprehensive insights into the different functions of Adhesive Operations & Supply Chain, take over projects in our plants, build a broad network, benefit from an individual training and development plan that will prepare you for future positions.

What You'll Do

  • The program includes three phases of 6 months.
  • Building your Foundation: You will join our production team and support efficiency and optimization initiatives.
  • Exploring new horizons: You will embark on functional rotations in selected departments in alignment with the Program Manager (example: Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Lean Management, SHE, etc.).
  • Get a strategic perspective: You will be involved in a cross-functional project in close collaboration with the regional and global Henkel Adhesive Technology teams.
  • In parallel you will be introduced to the different supply chain and related functions to build a broad understanding of the organization.
  • You will own and drive multiple cross-functional projects that lead to continuous improvement within your plant, allowing you to develop deep insight into the different functions of operations and supply chain.
  • As part of the program, you will receive a high level of visibility and guidance from an experienced mentor who will provide ongoing guidance, share feedback on your performance and agree development measures with you.
  • Expand your global professional network, exchanging ideas with fellow trainees and connecting with senior leaders, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Upon completion of the program, you will be placed in a responsible position across the operations and supply chain organization at one of our locations where the knowledge and expertise learned through the program will provide you with a wide range of career opportunities.

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics with a successful academic record.
  • Up to 2 years of work experience, ideally in a multinational environment with experience in either manufacturing or supply chain roles.
  • Enthusiastic about starting your career journey at our diverse production sites.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to foster relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a hands-on mentality and a process-oriented approach to effectively implement ideas.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
  • Great aptitude for continuous learning and self-development, with interest in new technologies, digitization, and data analysis.
  • Geographic mobility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and the local language.
