Program Management Intern, Summer 2027

We are hiring for two Program Management Intern opportunities within Mastercard's Dublin Tech Hub. Both roles offer exposure to project and program delivery in a global technology organization, but they differ slightly in focus. The Technical Program Management Intern role is more technically focused and ideal for students interested in engineering, software, infrastructure, or technology delivery, while the Program Management Intern role focuses more on strategic coordination, governance, stakeholder management, and business execution.
Technical Program Management Intern
Work alongside engineering teams supporting global data-centre and product deployments. You will help coordinate complex technical initiatives and gain experience in technology delivery at scale. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects
- Maintaining project schedules and delivery plans
- Tracking product integrations, deployments, milestones, and timelines
- Coordinating activities and dependencies across engineering and partner teams
- Monitoring progress and communicating project status to stakeholders
- Identifying risks, blockers, and delivery gaps
- Analysing metrics and improving project visibility and reporting
- Translating technical information into clear and concise updates
This role is particularly suited to students studying Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, Systems Analysis, Project Management, or other technical disciplines who are interested in technology, infrastructure, and large-scale technical delivery.
Program Management Intern
Work with Mastercard's Technology Regulatory Execution team, supporting strategic technology initiatives and helping ensure projects are delivered effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables
- Supporting leadership reporting, dashboards, presentations, and status updates
- Coordinating meetings and documenting key decisions and actions
- Tracking program risks, issues, and dependencies
- Analysing project and program data to generate insights
- Maintaining governance records and project documentation
- Supporting process improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology teams
This role is well suited to students studying Project Management, Business, Management, STEM disciplines, or related fields who enjoy organisation, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and working on strategic initiatives.
Candidates must be available from 21 June to 27 August 2027, be graduating between December 2027 and July 2028, and be able to work from Mastercard's Dublin office at least three days per week. Please indicate clearly on your application which internship opportunity interests you most.
