Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Ireland & Europe

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will assist in the pricing, commercial management, and delivery of domestic, commercial, and industrial construction projects across Ireland and Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience working on multiple live projects while developing strong commercial and contractual management skills within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and tender pricing for domestic, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Support the commercial management of multiple projects throughout Ireland and Europe.

  • Prepare, submit, and manage monthly valuations and interim payment applications.

  • Price and manage variations, change orders, and additional works.

  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow reporting.

  • Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.

  • Assist in procurement and subcontractor package management.

  • Prepare cost reports and maintain accurate commercial records.

  • Support final account negotiations and project close-out procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes is advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel within Ireland and occasionally throughout Europe.

  • Full clean driving licence preferred.
