Job Title: Refrigeration Technician
Job
Responsibilities
Support the
refrigeration component selection, piping layout and design for a range of
cooling products for the telecoms and edge computing market.
Extensively
test and evaluate the functional performance of the product by installing them
in temporary rigs with known loads and validate the cooling capacity. Test the
equipment alongside the controls team to ensure correct and safe functionality
of the software in all conditions.
Support the transition
of current products and processes to low-GWP F-Gas in line with current and
future regulations. Work with the production team to ensure all F-Gas and
refrigerant handling requirements are being followed.
Assist with the
creation of technical documentation such as datasheets, information leaflets
and instruction manuals as required.
Design and
document refrigeration requirements such that products are ready for
production. This can include piping layouts, P&IDs, Good Refrigeration Practices,
etc.
Operate within
the Aubren process for product release and documentation and follow company
procedures for revision control and materials controls through the SAP system.
Ensure accurate
costs and supplier information is available to purchasing for refrigeration
components and BOMs.
Assist the
production team at end of line testing, ensuring procedures for quality checks sufficiently
address refrigeration requirements.
Complete site troubleshooting
and repair as required. These are on a case-by-case basis and in cooperation
with the customer and Aubren site contracts coordinator.
Track assigned
projects and report progress to the engineering manager. Participate in design
review meetings including engineering, production, purchasing, sales and
customer.
