Retail Assistant

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Retail Assistants
to join our team at a busy off-licence located in the Dublin 15 area. We have
both part-time and full-time positions available for candidates who thrive in a
fast-paced retail environment and take pride in delivering exceptional customer
service.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Customer Service: Greet customers warmly,
  offer expert product recommendations, and handle queries efficiently.
• ​Till Operation: Operate the EPOS till
  system accurately, handling cash, card transactions, and lottery sales
  where applicable.
• ​Stock Management: Receive deliveries,
  check invoices, restock shelves, and rotate stock following First-In,
  First-Out (FIFO) principles.
• ​Merchandising: Maintain visually
  appealing product displays, promotional areas, and end-caps.
• ​Store Standards: Ensure the shop floor,
  storage areas, and counter spaces are kept clean, tidy, and fully
  compliant with health and safety guidelines.
• ​Compliance: Strictly adhere to all
  licensing laws, particularly regarding age verification (Challenge 25
  policy) and responsible retailing.

​Requirements

• ​Age: Must be 18 years of
  age or older (mandatory requirement for off-licence environments).
• ​Experience: Previous retail or
  customer service experience is an advantage, though full training will be
  provided.
• ​Availability: Flexibility to work
  shifts ranging between 10:15 AM and 10:15 PM, including weekends
  and bank holidays.
• ​Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable
  demeanor with strong communication skills.
• ​Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and
  capable of working independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
