Sales/Rental Negotiator

This role is ideal for a graduate or early-career property professional
who wants to develop as a front-line lettings negotiator with some sales
exposure, working directly with landlords and tenants in a fast-paced
residential environment.


Lettings & Negotiation

  • Conduct
    residential property viewings and follow up with prospective tenants.
  • Negotiate
    rental terms between landlords and tenants in line with market
    conditions.
  • Progress
    agreed lettings from offer stage through to tenancy commencement.
  • Assist
    with rental valuations and market appraisals under supervision.
  • Support
    the marketing of rental properties across online platforms and
    databases.

Landlord & Tenant
Engagement

  • Act
    as a day-to-day contact for landlords and tenants throughout the letting
    process.
  • Provide
    guidance to applicants on tenancy requirements and processes.
  • Build
    strong relationships to support tenant retention and repeat landlord
    business.
  • Assist
    in resolving tenancy queries with support from senior team members.

Portfolio & Tenancy
Support

  • Assist
    with move-in, interim, and end-of-tenancy inspections.
  • Support
    rent reviews and lease renewals.
  • Liaise
    with contractors regarding minor maintenance issues during the letting
    phase.

Compliance & Professional
Standards

  • Ensure
    lettings activity follows residential tenancy legislation and company
    procedures.
  • Prepare
    and issue tenancy documentation with oversight from licensed colleagues.
  • Maintain
    accurate records on property management systems (e.g. Letman).
  • Work
    toward full PSRA compliance and licensing as part of career development.


    Job Requirements (including qualification & experience)

    • Degree
      or qualification in Property, Business, Real Estate, or a related
      discipline (or relevant practical experience).
    • 0–5
      years’ experience in residential lettings, estate agency, or a
      customer-facing sales/negotiation role.
    • Strong
      interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Confident,
      professional manner when dealing with clients and the public.
    • Good
      organisational skills and ability to manage multiple active lettings.
    • PSRA
      Category B and C License
