Speech and Language Therapist

We are currently seeking a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join a well-established Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Tullamore. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team delivering family-centred services to children and young people (0–18 years) with complex needs arising from disability.

Key Responsibilities of the Speech and language Therapist:

• Provide assessment and intervention for children with a range of developmental needs
• Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support each child’s communication goals
• Participate in team planning, service development, and interdisciplinary working
• Maintain clinical records and contribute to service evaluation and audit

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:

• CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Experience working with children, ideally in a disability or paediatric setting
• Excellent communication, organisational, and team-working skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, family-centred care

Desirable:

• Experience working in a CDNT or similar multidisciplinary setting
• Additional training in areas such as AAC, early intervention, or feeding and swallowing (not essential)
