As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and technically minded individual to join our Technical Solutions Development Programme based in Naas.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who wants to develop practical engineering knowledge, gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and build a long-term future within a growing engineering business.
The Opportunity
Unlike many graduate or trainee positions, this role offers exposure to real engineering applications from day one.
You will work alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, learning how hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation systems are applied across a wide variety of industries. You will gain experience supporting customer enquiries, identifying technical solutions, preparing quotations and developing relationships with customers and suppliers.
We are open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds. While engineering qualifications are advantageous, they are not essential. We recognise that technical ability, curiosity and problem-solving skills can be developed through many different routes.
What matters most to us is attitude.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, enjoys learning and is willing to take initiative when faced with new challenges.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the engineering and technical sales team in a variety of activities, including:

Assisting customers with technical enquiries and product selection

Learning hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and automation technologies

Preparing quotations, proposals and technical documentation
-
Working closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver customer solutions
-
Supporting engineering projects and automation applications
-
Developing an understanding of customer requirements across multiple industries
-
Using SAP Business One and other software systems to support daily operations
-
Building technical product knowledge across a broad range of engineering technologies
-
Supporting the delivery of high levels of customer service
-
Developing towards managing customer accounts and technical projects independently
