Your ACCA journey

To become an ACCA member, you'll complete:

• Up to 13 exams (depending on any exemptions you receive)
• The Ethics and Professional Skills Module
• 36 months of relevant practical experience

Most students complete the qualification in around three to four years, although your timeline will depend on your study route, exemptions and work experience.

To start the ACCA Qualification, you'll typically need to have completed your Irish Leaving Certificate in at least five separate subjects (including Mathematics & English) with at least 3 subjects at Higher (ARD) Level (Grade C3 or above / H1-H5) and at least 2 subjects at Grade D3 or above / O1-O6 / H1-H6, either at Higher (ARD) or Ordinary (Gnath) Level.

What exemptions are available?

We offer exemptions from our Foundation level or ACCA Qualification exams, based on your prior learning. They help ensure you start with us at the level that's right for you.
