Who we are
We are a home and community builder, leading the market in creating sustainable foundations upon which Ireland can thrive.
As Ireland's largest Self-build Apartment Developer and Homebuilder with a mature and scaled end-to-end operating platform, our business has the resources and capabilities to deliver a choice of new homes where people want to live now and into the future.
At Cairn, it’s not about what we build. It’s about why we build. It’s about putting down a marker that will stand for generations to come. Creating new communities of connection and belonging, building towards an Ireland where everyone can thrive. Our vision includes people, progress and prosperity for all.
Because when we build, it’s Built For Good.

We are committed to driving employee engagement to deliver a high-performance culture in a rewarding working environment where we harness insights and knowledge from our talented team.
Our core brand values are the beliefs that we, as a company, stand for. They serve as the compass that guides how we do business and interact with our customers, colleagues and partners.
Collaboration is at the heart of Housebuilding. It is about getting down to work with a common sense of purpose and mutual respect.
Maintaining an open and honest dialogue. Saying what needs to be said constructively. Laying down the truth means that we can get to a better solution faster.
We will be there. We deliver on Customer needs throughout their journey with us, but sharing our knowledge, our insights and out expertise to guide, support and reassure.
We are creative and open to new ideas, ready to implement change if required. We are prepared and able to adapt to changing conditions and customer requirements.

In a collaborative industry like construction, diverse perspectives are essential. They spark innovation, bring fresh insights, and foster an engaged workforce. At Cairn, everyone contributes to cultivating an inclusive environment where individuals are encouraged to be themselves and are valued for their unique contributions.
Inclusivity is ingrained in our company culture and is promoted from the highest levels. Our focus on people, including our team, partners, customers, and the wider community, fosters mutual respect in our interactions. Equality, Diversity, and inclusion (ED&I) are central to Cairn’s priorities.
Wellbeing
At Cairn, we offer access to our Employee Assistance Programme through VHI to all employees.
As part of our commitment to the continuous development of our Mental Health Strategy, we again made strides across our business and supply chain this year. Our Mental Health Strategy forms the blueprint of our Health and Wellbeing strategy for both Cairn and its contractors.
Cairn are proud partners with The Lighthouse Club and have used this avenue to provide information, support, and multi-disciplinary experts to the people across our business. We also engaged Oisin McConville (Sporting Chance) and, Ciaran Carey (My Move
Counselling) to speak of their experience with drugs, gambling and alcohol and what help, and assistance are available for those struggling. Throughout the year our Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA’s) have increased in numbers across the business to facilitate the growth of the business and enable Cairn to provide a point of contact across all functions. A key element of our Mental Health Strategy is the support available for the MHFA’s within the business, which includes biweekly meetings for all MHFA’s along with a dedicated Mental Health Champion within the business.
