This award endorses the positive impact our Early Careers Programme has had on both our organisation and our people. The highly customised programme has been developed by the Early Careers team to support the vision of Version 1 and to ensure that all our Early Careers Associates receive the best start to their careers at Version 1.

Time away - Our employees get 24 days leave allowance plus national bank holidays. And for those who have personal goals and ambitions that they want to achieve outside of work, we offer up to 13 weeks of unpaid leave allowance too. We also offer additional types of leave for your moments that matter including wedding leave, parental leave, reproductive leave and special leave.

Success Scheme - Our Success Scheme is unique to us, enabling our people to be company shareholders. Points (which represent a shareholding) are accrued based on an individual’s time with us and these will be realised when we reach our next significant growth milestone. Through this programme, we ensure that by contributing to Version 1’s growth journey, employees will benefit from that growth.

Profit Share - Our employee-designed profit share scheme means our employees share a portion of company profits every quarter. Each employee receives a portion of the profit based on their performance and their level in the company. This is a fair and transparent process that ensure employees on equivalent performance and level receive the same profit share amount each quarter. We are proud to have been consistently paying our profit share every quarter for more than 14 years.

Health and wellbeing - From day one you are eligible to join the company private healthcare plan and our healthcare partners offer preferential rates for family members too, for your peace of mind. Recruitment process

We have a very transparent 4 stage recruitment process which consists of:

Stage 1: Apply online and complete your candidate profile. Look out for an email from our Early Careers team with a link to complete our application form, here you will be asked to tell us about yourself so we can assess your suitability to the Early Careers Programme

Stage 2: Complete Thomas International Assessments, these will be 2 assessments that will be sent from our 3rd party partner. We use these assessments to help us evaluate candidates' skills, abilities, and suitability for the Early Careers Academy.

Stage 3: If you are selected to move forward to the 3rd stage of the recruitment process, you will be invited to attend a Microsoft Teams interview with a senior technologist and a member of the Early Careers Team from Version 1.

Stage 4: The final stage of the process will be an on-site assessment day, this is a enjoyable and interactive day where we invite you to really get a feel for who Version 1 is and what we have to offer.

We want to unlock the amazing and the potential in our early careers associates. We designed our Digital Academies precisely for this reason, to provide the best training in the latest technologies, empowering you to deliver transformational change for our customers. We partner with leading training providers and academic institutes to create bespoke academies that let you develop your academy-specific skill sets and earn industry-recognised certifications.

Over a 21-month programme, you’ll be supported by our Early Careers team to complete a 12-week hybrid technical and consultancy skills training programme

When your initial training is successfully completed, you’ll be assigned to your Version 1 team and paired with a buddy. We help you settle in and meet all the people you need to help you succeed in your journey.
