Funding
Masters Reduced Fee Scheme for 2024/2025
DCU is delighted to extend it’s 10% Masters Reduced Fee Scheme exclusive to DCU graduates and outgoing final year students with a Bachelor and/or a Masters degree from the university. It applies to any full time or part time taught Masters Programme for the 2024/25 academic year. For further information, click HERE.
Postgraduate students can continue their Higher Education Grant or apply for one if they satisfy the necessary requirements. For more information on maintenance grants, click here.

Research Councils are a major source of financial support for EU students wishing to register for postgraduate research degrees – however, funding for certain taught programmes is occasionally available. For more information, click here.
Employer Sponsorship
Some students have taken the route into a postgraduate degree by getting sponsorship from their employer. This can come in many different forms from flexible employment arrangements to covering some of the costs of a degree. International Students

DCU International Merit Scholarships
DCU offers a number of Merit Scholarships to International Students from NON EU countries. The Scholarship Programme is funded by DCU International Office and aims to attract high achieving global applicants normally liable for Full NON EU fees. Full Degree Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught Programme / High achieving applicants will automatically be considered for Scholarships worth up to €2000 on application. Find out more here
DCU Non-EU Study Abroad / Exchange Returning Masters Scholarships
Any returning Study Abroad or Exchange student applying to DCU One Year Taught Masters Programmes as a NON EU student are automatically eligible for a €2,000 tuition fee scholarship off the NON EU Fee only (self-funding students only). Find out more here
