Description and Responsibilities:
Our Food, Safety & Quality Intern will be assigned to one of our FSQ teams based at our Carrigaline site. As part of these teams, you will carry out the following tasks:
- Support quality and food safety projects across the site.
- Assist in tracking and trending key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and safety.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections, helping to document findings and follow-up actions.
- Help develop and maintain product specifications, sampling plans, and control systems.
- Contribute to live quality and safety initiatives, including risk assessments and system updates.
- Assist in any ad hoc duties or projects that may arise within the FSQ team

What we are Looking for:
- Studying Chemistry, Food Science, Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or related degree and on track for a 2:1 degree classification
- Results-Oriented
- Motivated self-starter with the determination and drive to succeed.
- Strong ability to work well in a team and work independently.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Good organisational, time management & communication skills.
