Roles & Responsibilities

The Graduate Electrical Engineer plays a key role in designing, reviewing, and implementing electrical systems for automated production equipment. You will support installation, commissioning, and validation activities, ensuring all work meets national, international, and Johnson & Johnson electrical standards and directives. Electrical safety and regulatory compliance are paramount in this role.

Design & Review:

  • Assist in developing electrical designs for automated equipment and control systems.
  • Review schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts for compliance and functionality.

Installation & Commissioning:

  • Execute electrical installations for new equipment and upgrades.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, robots, vision systems, and associated hardware.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to IEC, ISO, and local electrical standards, as well as internal company standards.
  • Participate in risk assessments and implement robust electrical safety measures.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to automation projects and technology upgrades.

Education & Experience:

  • Recent Graduate (2025 or due to graduate in 2026)
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Knowledge of electrical design principles and control systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming, industrial networking, and robotics is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance.
