Our summer internship is more than just work experience, it is a launchpad for your future career in law. Our programme is designed to give you more than an insight, it is a chance to grow your confidence, expand your network, and discover what it takes to succeed in a top-tier law firm. With tailored training, mentoring, and social events, you will leave with skills, connections, and experiences that set you apart. For many of our interns, this programme was the first step towards securing a traineeship and ultimately qualifying as a lawyer with William Fry.
Programme Dates:
This year we have extended the programmes to four weeks, giving you even more time to learn, grow, and make an impact.
Programme 1: 8 June – 3 July 2026
Programme 2: 6 July – 31 July 2026

Application Process:
Applications can be submitted via our online application form. You will require the following documents for the application:
- A copy of your most up-to-date academic transcript.
- Cover letter – In your cover letter, please outline why you are interested in pursuing a career in corporate law and why you would like to do an internship at William Fry.
Applications close at 5pm, Wednesday 11 February 2026.
Should your application be successful, you will be invited to interview for a place on one of our programmes on either Tuesday 3 March or Wednesday 4 March 2026. All candidates invited to interview will be invited to our pre interview networking evening on Monday 2 March.
